When the Vulkano Engineering team came up with the idea to take part in the Soltec challenge at the Ances Open Innovation 2023, we did not imagine that we would end up being… one of the winners!
ANCES, the National Association of Spanish CEEIs (European Business and Innovation Centers), has held the final event of Ances Open Innovation 2023, the open innovation program in which 8 large companies, leaders in their fields, have found solutions to their technological challenges through the participating start-ups.
Vulkano’s challenge consisted of designing an accessory for the Soltec SF7 tracker, to fulfill the function of cleaning solar and irrigation modules for agricultural purposes, innovative with a state-of-the-art and scalable design.
From here we congratulate the National Association of CEEIs (ANCES) both for the magnificent event that was held at La Nave in Madrid and for the initiative and momentum it generates every year in the innovation sector at a national level.
We also want to express our gratitude for the support of Ignacio Melón Menéndez and Soltec, since the challenge was to design an accessory for their SF7 tracker that would fulfill the function of cleaning the solar modules and irrigation for agricultural purposes.
